Terms of service

Last updated: 2 June 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of Wayspost, a marketplace operated by Wayspost Ltd ("Wayspost", "we"). By creating an account or booking a delivery, you agree to be bound by them.

1. The service

Wayspost connects senders ("Customers") with independent UK drivers ("Drivers") for the transportation of personal items. Wayspost is a technology platform; we do not operate vehicles or employ drivers.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and capable of forming a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Bookings & payment

  • Quoted prices include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is captured by Stripe at booking; we release driver earnings after successful delivery.
  • Cancellations before a Driver accepts a job are refunded in full. After acceptance, a £4 service fee may be retained.

4. Prohibited items

You may not send hazardous materials, perishables requiring refrigeration, live animals, weapons, controlled substances, currency or any item prohibited by UK law or Royal Mail's restricted list.

5. Insurance & liability

Goods are insured up to £10,000 per booking during transit, subject to the tier you chose and the full Insurance Terms. Wayspost's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the lower of the insured value or the fees paid in the prior 12 months.

6. Accuracy of declared contents and value

You warrant that the parcel contents, declared value, and any receipts uploaded are accurate, complete, and not misleading. You authorise Wayspost to collect and use device, IP, GPS, and payment-method signals to detect fraud (see Privacy Policy).

7. Fraud, misrepresentation, and abuse

  • Misrepresentation of parcel contents or value, staging of fake parcels, or filing of false claims voids all cover and is a material breach of these Terms.
  • Wayspost may suspend or terminate accounts, withhold or reverse payouts, charge back disputed amounts, and refuse future service at our discretion.
  • We reserve the right to pursue civil recovery, report suspected offences to the police, Action Fraud, and Cifas, and cooperate fully with investigations.
  • You agree to indemnify Wayspost against any loss arising from your breach of these Terms or your fraudulent or unlawful conduct.

8. Disputes

Open a dispute from the booking page within 48 hours of delivery. Our team will review and resolve within five business days.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
